A Pink Flower Just Outside Our Door

There is a bush outside our front door that looks kind of like bamboo with big leaves. It grows quickly from a clump of stocks. In early June we noticed a new stock shoot up with a bud on top.

At about two weeks, beautiful flame colored pedals appeared.	We began to wonder what the center would look like.


But to our dismay, the flame pedals quickly 'burned out' and looked charred.	We still don't know what the center will look like.
